About the Workshop

The objective of this workshop is to train those who are interested in Science News writing. It is the most important category of science journalism which allows the non-scientific community to connect to science & research happening around the globe.

It also helps in increasing awareness and educating the public. The workshop will have lectures, discussions, demonstrations, hands-on practice, feedback, mentoring, and highly interactive sessions. The participants will learn to plan, schedule, do research, write, edit, rewrite, and layout ‘Science News’. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear idea of writing science news pieces.
