Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, has announced a walk-in interview for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) on a contract basis. The interview will be held on 29/06/2023 at 10.30 AM in Conference Hall II, Block A of the Regional Cancer Centre. Interested candidates are required to report at the Conference Hall by 09.30 AM.
Eligibility for the candidates
Candidates applying for the position must possess a graduation degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks. Additionally, they should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of HT Electrical Systems. Familiarity with estimating and organizing electrical installations up to a medium scale as per CPWD norms and arranging electrical activities in high scale through external agencies is also desired.

Salary and contract period
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000. The term of engagement will be for 179 days. Only one vacancy is available for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical).
Age limit and reservation for the cndidates
Applicants must fulfill the age criteria, which requires them to be between 18 and 36 years old. Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (inclusive of both dates) are eligible to apply. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST categories as per the existing norms.
How to attend the interview
Interested candidates are advised to bring the original and attested copies of their proof of age, qualification and experience, CV/Bio data, and a recent passport-size photograph to the interview. Candidates failing to provide these documents will not be permitted to attend the interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. In case the number of candidates exceeds 40, an objective type written test will be conducted.
