Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram Seeks Radiation Technologist on Contract Basis
The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) in Thiruvananthapuram has released a job vacancy announcement for the position of Radiation Technologist on a contract basis. Interested candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-interview at the Conference Hall II in Block A of the Regional Cancer Centre on 14th of June 2023 at 10:00 AM.
Interview Details
The walk-in-interview will be conducted at the Regional Cancer Centre's Conference Hall II in Block A. Candidates should arrive at the mentioned venue positively before 09:30 AM to participate in the selection process for the Radiation Technologist position.
Qualification and Experience
To be eligible for the Radiation Technologist position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Essential: B.Sc. MRT from a recognized institution approved by AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board), or an equivalent qualification approved by AERB.
OR
(i) Degree in Science.
(ii) Pass in certified Radiological Assistants Course/Diploma in Radiological Technology Course (2 years duration) from a Medical College or its equivalent.
(iii) One year of post-qualification experience in the specialty.
Desirable Skills
Candidates with knowledge in computer operation will be given preference.

Terms and Age Limit
The selected candidate will be engaged on a contract basis for one year. The maximum age limit for applicants is 36 years as of 01/01/2023. However, relaxation of the upper age limit will be provided to SC/ST and OBC candidates as per existing norms.
