Eligibility Criteria and Qualification
To be eligible for the Apprenticeship, candidates should not be more than 23 years old as of July 1, 2023. The age limit for General candidates is after July 2, 2000, for OBC candidates it is after July 2, 1997, and for SC/ST candidates, it is after July 2, 1995. Candidates should possess a National Trade Certificate in the relevant ITI/ITC Trade. They should have secured 60% marks in the trade (NCVT approved), with a relaxation to 50% marks for SC/ST candidates. Applicants domiciled in Kerala will be given preference.
Application Process and Selection Procedure
There is no application fee for FACT Recruitment. The selection process involves the preparation of a merit list based on marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination and SSLC/Equivalent Examination. Weightage will be given to both qualifications. In case of a tie, marks of the preceding qualifying examination and subjects like Maths, Physics & Chemistry in the 10th standard will be considered. Age seniority will be considered if further ties arise.
