The Overseas Development and Employment Promotion Consultants (ODEPC) is conducting walk-in interviews for various teaching positions at a renowned school in the UAE. Interested candidates can attend the interviews at specified locations and dates in Kozhikode and Trivandrum.
The walk-in interviews will take place on July 5, 2023, at Oxford School in Kozhikode and on July 8, 2023, at the ODEPC Office in Trivandrum. The available positions include Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in various subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Economics, Social Studies, Arabic, and Islamic Studies (male and female). Candidates applying for these positions must possess a degree from a recognized university as a regular candidate in the concerned subject and a B.Ed in the same subject. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
Additionally, there is a vacancy for a Physical Education Teacher (female only) who should hold a degree in Physical Education and have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
The school is also seeking a qualified Head of Section with a post-graduate degree in any subject, along with a teaching certificate (B.Ed/M.Ed.) and a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years in a leadership role at a major school.
Selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary ranging from AED 3250 (73K INR) to AED 6000 (1.35 Lakh INR) per month, depending on the position. Additional benefits include accommodation or an allowance, medical insurance, visa expenses, work permits, and job loss insurance (from the 2nd year onwards). All candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field and proficiency in English.
Candidates are advised to note that qualifications obtained through private study or distance education will not be approved by the Ministry of Education UAE. The maximum age limit for applicants is 45 years.
Selected candidates will be responsible for their travel expenses to the UAE for documentation and approval processes. However, the school will provide temporary visas, accommodation, and other personal expenses until the candidates obtain ADEK approval and work permits.
The contract duration is initially for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal. Accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance will be provided, and family status is available, although family accommodation and expenses are to be borne by the employee.
