Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Police, in collaboration with the Department of Traffic and Licensing, has introduced the "One Day Test for Driving Licence" project specifically designed for national service recruits. The project, which commences on July 17, 2023, allows national service recruits to complete all the necessary procedures for obtaining a driver's licence in just one day. Depending on its success, the initiative may be extended beyond the end of the year.
Col. Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Acting Director of the Licensing Department of RAK Police, highlighted that the issuing of a new driving licence can now be expedited for national service recruits.
