Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) North Eastern Railway has announced a job notification for the recruitment of Apprentice vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online for the 1104 Apprentice Posts in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Training & Stipend:
Selected candidates will undergo training as per the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council. During the apprenticeship, candidates will be paid a stipend at the prescribed rates as per the rules and instructions.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Qualification:
Candidates should have passed the High School (10th) examination with a minimum of 50% marks and possess ITI in the notified trade as of the date of the notification (03.07.2023).
Application Fee:
- UR / OBC: Rs.100/-
- SC/ ST/ EWS / Divyang (PwBD) / Women: Nil

Selection Process:
Selection of eligible candidates for training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on a merit list prepared by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation and ITI examinations. The merit list will give equal weightage to both. Candidates may choose multiple units/places, and based on their merit position, they will be allotted accordingly. Document verification will be conducted for provisionally selected candidates, and successful candidates will undergo apprentice training at the allotted Division/Unit.
