Digital India Corporation Announces Contractual Positions for IT Professionals
Digital India Corporation, established by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, to drive technological innovations for the common man, has recently announced several contractual positions for IT professionals. The positions are part of the organization's efforts to promote the use of technology in various sectors, including e-Governance, e-Health, Telemedicine, e-Agriculture, and e-Payments.

The Digital India programme, spearheaded by the Corporation, focuses on enhancing the safety and security of a cashless economy and addressing challenges associated with its wider acceptance. The initiative aims to empower citizens through digital initiatives and foster participatory governance and citizen engagement through various platforms, including social media.
The available positions include:
1. Tester: This position requires a candidate with a Graduation/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields. The applicant should have at least 5 years of experience as a QA tester for a large enterprise system. Familiarity with automated testing tools and performance testing is considered a plus.
2. Software Developer: To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a Graduation/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent. The ideal applicant should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using Dot Net technologies like C#, ASP.Net, and MVC. Familiarity with JavaScript, JQuery, and MS SQL Server will be advantageous.
3. Team Lead- Project Management: This position requires a candidate with a B.E. and specialization in Digital Forensics, Cyber Law, or Cybercrime Investigations. The applicant should have at least 6 months to 4 years of experience in project management and digital forensics.
All the positions will be on a contractual basis, and the place of posting will be in New Delhi, with the possibility of transfers to project locations as per the existing policy of Digital India Corporation.
The selection process will involve screening applications based on qualifications, age, academic record, and relevant experience. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for selection interviews. It's worth mentioning that the Corporation reserves the right to fix higher qualification and experience thresholds for screening and may choose not to select any candidate without assigning a specific reason.
