The ISRO VSSC Recruitment 2023 is offering a total of four vacancies, with three positions for Fireman-A and one position for Cook. The Fireman-A vacancies are distributed among different categories, with one vacancy for Other Backward Classes (OBC), one for Scheduled Caste (SC), and one for Economically Weaker Section (EWS). The Cook position is available for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
Eligibility criteria for the Fireman-A position require candidates to have passed SSLC/SSC and meet the prescribed Physical Fitness & Physical Efficiency Test standards. For the Cook position, candidates should also have passed SSLC/SSC and possess five years of experience in a similar capacity (as Cook) in a well-established Hotel/Canteen.
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 31,400 for both Fireman-A and Cook positions. The minimum age requirement for all posts is 18 years, with age relaxations applicable to specific categories as per government norms.

For other candidates, an amount of Rs. 400 will be refunded, deducting applicable bank charges on appearing in the written test.
