Project Focus: Establishment of Science Parks in Kerala
The Government of Kerala has undertaken the ambitious task of establishing three Science Parks, designed to leverage the potential of advancements in Science and Technology for the development of a knowledge-based economy. To facilitate this project, KSCSTE has been designated as the Special Purpose Vehicle. Three leading universities—University of Kerala, Cochin University of Science and Technology, and Kannur University—have been identified as Principal Associating Universities (PAUs) for the respective Science Parks in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kannur. Each Science Park will comprise two blocks covering an area of 10 lakh sq.ft, with an investment of Rs. 200 Crores from the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).

Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager (Administration) will play a pivotal role in coordinating technical services for the establishment of Science Parks across Kerala. This involves liaising with Principal Associating Universities (PAUs), government departments, and agencies. The role also encompasses drafting project execution documents, proposal writing, presentation preparation, and supporting the creation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR). The Assistant Manager will need to engage in extensive travel to various locations for effective project execution.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential: Graduate in Science and Regular MBA from a reputed institution.
Desirable: Ph.D. from a reputed institution.
Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in project management, infrastructure development, project appraisal, investment promotion, business development, and related activities. Experience with consultancy organizations is preferable.
