The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has announced the engagement of a Consultant (Sports) on a contractual basis for a period of one year. NESTS aims to provide quality education to tribal children in their own environment and has set up Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in every block with over 50% Scheduled Tribe (ST) population and at least 20,000 tribal individuals. To ensure effective functioning of EMRS, NESTS is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the Consultant (Sports) position.

Position Details:
Position: Consultant (Sports) - Grade I
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years
Eligibility:
Post-Graduation in Physical Education or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. Desirable qualifications include being a national player/award winner at the national or international level, experience as a coach in a Federation or as a physical education teacher/instructor in an educational institution, and experience in organizing State/National Level sports events. The candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Government/Social/Education sector.
Remuneration:
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,45,000.
Job Profile:
The Consultant (Sports) will be responsible for various tasks related to sports in EMRS, including developing guidelines for the conduct of EMRS National Sports Meet, organizing the EMRS National Sports Meet annually, coordinating with States/UTs for data collection and advice on conducting State Level EMRS Sports Meet, collaborating with sports Federations/Foundations for creating opportunities for EMRS students in sports, and overseeing the Centre of Excellence in Sports project.
