An exciting opportunity awaits individuals passionate about fostering rural entrepreneurship! Applications are now open for the role of Micro Enterprises Consultants (MEC) as part of the Start Up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) in Yalamdesam Block. SVEP, an initiative by Kudumbashree District Mission, aims to ignite entrepreneurship in rural communities and extend support to small-scale enterprises. Currently, this program is already making waves in the Idukki block of the district.
To be eligible for the consultant position, a plus two educational qualification is required. Applicants should fall within the age bracket of 25 to 45 years. Moreover, candidates must be a member of a neighborhood group, neighborhood group family, or auxiliary group. While all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply, special preference will be given to women and individuals from within the Kattapana block limits.
Selected candidates will embark on a transformative journey, undergoing a 47-day residential training program in multiple phases. This comprehensive training is designed to equip consultants with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
To apply, aspiring consultants are required to prepare an application on white paper. This application should be accompanied by essential documents such as a passport-sized photograph, educational qualification certificate, Aadhaar copy, and the certificate of the CDS Chairperson.
