Digital India Corporation Announces Vacancies for Various Positions on Contract Basis
Digital India Corporation, a not-for-profit company under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 and an initiative by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, is inviting applications for multiple positions on a Contract/Consolidated basis. The Corporation aims to innovate, develop, and deploy ICT and emerging technologies for the benefit of the common man as part of the Digital India program.

The positions available are Security Tester, Quality Analyst, Development/Technical Lead - Backend, Consultant/Sr. Consultant- On boarding, Head of Operations, and Assistant Manager- Conversational AI Bot. The Corporation plays a pivotal role in promoting e-Governance, e-Health, Telemedicine, e-agriculture, e-Payments, and other digital initiatives to empower citizens and promote participatory governance.

Job Descriptions for Some of the Positions
1. Security Tester: The job holder will be responsible for conducting application security reviews and threat modeling, ensuring the security vulnerability management of the UMANG platform, and performing regular security checks and troubleshooting. Qualifications include a B.E/B. Tech./MCA degree and relevant experience in software development and IT security.
2. Quality Analyst: The role involves writing test plans, designing automated test scripts, and maintaining documentation related to test cases for UMANG platform features. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience in mobile and web app functional testing, automated testing, and working in an Agile development environment.
3. Development/Technical Lead - Backend: The job holder will lead the software development team for the UMANG platform, planning technical specifications, and mentoring team members. The candidate should have at least 6+ years of software development experience, proficiency in Java, Hibernate, Spring, and Spring Boot, and working knowledge of DevOps and API development.
4. Consultant- On Boarding: The role involves handling on-boarding services of various government departments on UMANG, monitoring services, and providing support to resolve operational issues. The candidate should have 4+ years of experience in software/networking project management and enterprise-wide system implementation.
5. Head of Operations: The job holder will be responsible for overall operations and maintenance of the UMANG platform, ensuring continuous availability and resolving platform issues. The candidate should have 6+ years of experience in software development/testing and managing IT operations.
6. Assistant Manager: Conversational AI Bot: The role involves assisting with UMANG Conversational AI projects, managing resources, and providing technical support. The candidate should have 4-6 years of development experience in AI Bot projects and preferably 1-2 years of experience in Chat/Voice Bots or Conversational AI Platforms.
